The MasterCard sponsored ‘Priceless Table in Times Square’ event launched on July 16th with Samuelsson wowing guests and delighting spectators who had the chance to watch the Top Chef Master strut his culinary stuff.

The five-course price fix dinner included dishes like watermelon gazpacho and poached sea bass, all prepared by Samuelsson and his Red Rooster culinary wizards and reflecting the chef’s penchant for fresh, seasonal ingredients.  The surprisingly reasonable ticket price of $50 per person directly benefits Stand Up To Cancer.  Dedicated to their endeavor to accelerate the pace of research, Stand Up To Cancer has a commitment to getting therapies rolled out quickly in order to help the lives of cancer patients in need of treatment.

“I’ve had several people in my life diagnosed with cancer in the last few years, so the Priceless Table for Stand Up To Cancer project really hits home. It’s hard to sit by and watch as your loved one battles, and there’s nothing you can do. Stand Up To Cancer is the best answer to that. Plus, what could be more fun than sitting above Times Square and enjoying a one-of-a-kind meal?” – Marcus Samuelsson

Reservations for the event, which runs through August 2nd, are limited and can be made by visiting Open Table at www.opentable.com/the-priceless-table
