Gulfstream G500 sporty interior reminiscent of the interior of the highest quality high-performance automotive vehicles takes center stage at the 2021 International Yacht & Aviation Awards and gains top honors in the Interior Design/VIP Completions category.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has once again exceeded expectations with the next-generation Gulfstream G500. The G500 now delivers 5,300 nautical miles/9,816 kilometers at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nm/8,334 km at Mach 0.90. The aircraft, which have earned numerous awards and accolades for the seat and cabin design, include the Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100% fresh, never recirculated air, the industry's lowest cabin altitude, whisper-quiet sound levels, and 14 panoramic windows. And the accolades keep rolling in. This year the G500 was awarded top honors 2021 International Yacht & Aviation Awards for its "Performance and Polish."

The Gulfstream G500 Performance and Polish interior design evocates the aircraft's high-speed performance and imitates the smooth flight passengers enjoy when flying in the aircraft's stylish, comfortable cabin. The Gulfstream Studio achieved this award-winning design through an elegant play on contrasts in color, content, and composition. Linear patterns juxtaposed with sweeping movement. The plush upholstery is balanced with smooth, sleek lines and incorporates advanced ergonomics. Ebony furniture contrasts with the buttery, soft, ivory upholstery and a high-end carpet that marries the two. Light Coarse Carrara quartz countertops in the galley reflect light from the windows. Additional accents include white-gold-plated drawer and cabinet hardware that provides subtle pops of shimmer.
