On the other hand, travel restrictions have been lifted in many countries thanks to increased vaccination drives. Men’s golf majors: The Masters 2022 and The 150th Open Championship
The top golf tournament in the U.S. is also a private jet hot spot. Players and fans travel to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) on private aircraft to enjoy a week of the best golf in the world from 4-10 April. On the other side of the pond, the renowned 150th Open Championship in Scotland is a must-stop for true golf fans. Horse racing: Kentucky Derby
It is never too early to look ahead to the most exciting two minutes in sports. Miami joins the Formula 1 schedule in 2022 (May 8th). The Championships Wimbledon is another of those tradition-heavy events on this list, which gathers all sorts of crowds, not necessarily tied to tennis, but those seeking a great atmosphere and quality competition, especially in the final rounds during early July. Wimbledon lies in the southwest area of London, and the usual option to land a private jet is at London Luton Airport (LTN).
2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar
The wait is over. The first World Cup to be held in the Arab world is set to be historic. With great venues and stadiums, Qatar is suited to receive hundreds of thousands of fans during November 21st and December 18th. They have top-notch hospitality and an excellent private jet infrastructure to serve the vast array of aircraft that are expected to land in the country. The nation’s most frequented private jet terminal is Doha International Airport (OTB), near two World Cup stadiums, as Doha is a key venue in the tournament. Although we are just less than a year away, it is advised that bookings are made well in advance of the World Cup, as high demand is expected.
